and I’m sitting here squeeeeing like a fool with a giant grin on my face. I mean I never wanted it to end, I have every book Feist has ever written on my bookcase in chronological order, two copies of some. My first copy of Magician has been read so much the front cover has fallen off and the back is not far behind.

I never figured how he would end it, never in a million years. But ugghhhhh what a book, so many old face, so many laughs and good times. And then oh my, some moments. Some moments that are so well written you’re lost in that world. You can almost see and touch what’s happening, hear the snap and thunder of all of dragon kind rising into the air as one, I could feel my mind bend at the impossibilities of the City Forever and I felt a love for the conDoin men as if they were my own king. 

So thank you Raymond E. Feist. Thank you for 29 incredible books. Thank you for Pug and Thomas, Arutha, Lyam, Jimmy the Hand, William, Amos Trask and Nicholas, Laurie, Erik von Darkmoor, Calis and Bobby, Nakor, Miranda, Caleb & Magnus. Thank you for everyone character you ever gave life to and the role they played.

Thank you for all the lessons you taught us about honesty, loyalty and the constant reminder we are all equal.

And thank you for Pug’s reward, I hope he lives in peace.
